Before Liposuction
It is necessary to first consult your plastic surgeon via email. After seeing pictures of your problematic parts, he will decide whether this method is suitable for you. You will then agree on the scope of the treatment.
During Liposuction
Laser liposuction usually doesn't take more than one hour and is performed as an outpatient service. First the physician applies a numbing solution providing local anaesthesia. During the laser lipo the patient does not feel anything except for heat caused by the laser. Fat is not torn off mechanically as in traditional liposuction, laser wavelengths gently liquefy fat, which is then permanently removed from the body through a few tiny incisions.
After Liposuction
Laser lipo is followed by rapid healing. Most patients feel little to no pain and can return to work the following day. After the procedure, compression garments must be worn for a few days.
